Notify me of the need not to vote 2569
For those who do not go to the polls and vote, the referendum today (8 Feb 2026) can be informed of the need not to go to the 2569 election by doing so until 15 Feb 2026 so as not to lose their legal rights.
⚠️ Instructions for notification may not be used electronically.
1️⃣ is named in the voter account of each election type.
2️⃣ must be reported for a specified period of time.
2️⃣ 1️⃣ 7 days before the election.
2️⃣ 2️⃣ Within 7 days of selection (by Feb 15, 2026)
📍 notifying channel not to exercise the right:

2️⃣ State app
3️⃣ Election Commission Office www.ect.go.th website or Registration Administration Bureau website www.bora.dopa.go.th
4️⃣, file MP 1 / 8 in person with the district registrar / local registrar, or send a registered letter to the district / local registrar, or assign a letter to another person to submit a replacement for the name on the household register.
⚠️ Reasons to listen:
1️⃣ have urgent business to travel to remote areas.
2️⃣ sick, disabled or elderly, so that they cannot travel to exercise their rights.
3️⃣ out of the kingdom.
4️⃣ Resident more than 100 kilometers away from the election.
5️⃣, extreme events such as natural disasters, floods or accidents.
📍 according to the Organic Law on the Election of Members of Parliament, if voters do not exercise their rights and do not give reasonable notice, political rights will be restricted for two years from the date of the election.
1️⃣ Right to petition against elections
A petition against the election of a Member of Parliament (MP), a local councillor or a local administrator shall not be lodged during a restricted period of entitlement.

4️⃣ Right to hold political service positions
Will not be able to hold political service positions in accordance with the Law on the Regulation of the Political Service, or political affairs parliamentary civil service positions such as ministerial secretary, adviser or other positions in the same way.
5️⃣ Right to hold positions in various local administration organizations
Not going to the polls will affect your future political career because it will be disqualified for two years. Although this disqualification will not affect other basic rights such as banking transactions, driving licenses or receiving welfare from the state, for those who want to participate in national development, it is best to maintain their rights.
ในช่วงที่ผ่านมาผมได้มีโอกาสทดลองใช้แอป Smart Vote เพื่อแจ้งเหตุไม่ไปใช้สิทธิเลือกตั้งด้วยตัวเอง ถือว่าเป็นประสบการณ์ที่สะดวกและรวดเร็วมาก เพราะทุกขั้นตอนดำเนินการผ่านโทรศัพท์มือถือโดยไม่ต้องเดินทางไปสำนักงานใด ๆ ซึ่งโดยปกติแล้วถ้าไม่แจ้งเหตุจะส่งผลกระทบรุนแรงต่อสิทธิทางการเมืองของเรา โดยเฉพาะถ้าอยากจะลงสมัครรับเลือกตั้งในอนาคตยังไงก็ต้องแจ้งเหตุให้ถูกต้องและทันเวลา สำหรับเหตุผลในการไม่ไปใช้สิทธิที่ยอมรับได้ เช่น การเดินทางไปพื้นที่ห่างไกล การเจ็บป่วย หรือเหตุสุดวิสัยอย่างน้ำท่วม ถือว่าเหมาะสมและเป็นทางเลือกที่ถูกกฎหมาย หากใครอยู่ต่างประเทศหรือที่ห่างไกลเกิน 100 กิโลเมตรจากที่เลือกตั้งก็ไม่ต้องกังวล เพราะก็มีกระบวนการแจ้งเหตุที่สะดวกหลายช่องทาง ทั้งแอปฯ ของรัฐ เว็บไซต์สำนักงานคณะกรรมการการเลือกตั้ง และการส่งเอกสารด้วยตนเองหรือไปรษณีย์ อย่างไรก็ตาม ผมอยากแนะนำว่า หากคุณมีเหตุจำเป็นจริง ๆ ควรเตรียมเอกสารหรือหลักฐานว่าจำเป็นต้องไม่ไปใช้สิทธิไว้ด้วย เพราะบางกรณีอาจต้องแสดงให้เจ้าหน้าที่พิจารณาเพื่อรับรองเหตุสมควรนั้น ๆ การเสียสิทธิทางการเมืองเป็นเวลา 2 ปี แม้จะไม่กระทบกับสิทธิพื้นฐานอื่น ๆ แต่ก็ส่งผลต่อโอกาสทางการเมืองและการมีส่วนร่วมต่อสังคมโดยตรง นอกจากนี้ยังมีฟีเจอร์ในแอป Smart Vote ที่ช่วยให้ตรวจสอบสถานะของเราได้ว่าได้แจ้งเหตุหรือไม่ ซึ่งผมมองว่าสิ่งเหล่านี้ช่วยสนับสนุนระบบการเลือกตั้งให้โปร่งใสและมีวินัยในสังคมประชาธิปไตยมากขึ้น ใครที่ยังลังเลหรือไม่แน่ใจเรื่องขั้นตอน ลองดาวน์โหลดและศึกษาคู่มือการแจ้งเหตุทางอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ดูนะครับ จะช่วยให้คุณไม่เสียสิทธิและสามารถรักษาสิทธิทางการเมืองได้อย่างถูกต้องและครบถ้วน
