God told me to write a LONG time ago
Hey guys . So I just needed to vent … God gave me the title of a book that I needed to write back in 2019 & I still haven’t fully written it 🤦🏾♀️ I know I know. I can’t disclose the title he gave me . But man is it deep & I think it hit TOO deep to my core. And when he gave it to me , I was still dealing with this issue for a long time. So in the beginning I wasn’t sure if I could write it because I didn’t want to be a hypocrite, then when I got delivered I was so scared of going back and tainting my testimony. & now I’m at the point where I can finally write it and it feels like so much fear has crept in. I think maybe I fear because I know that souls are attached to this. I just really want things to be right, to be biblically accurate . But there’s also a DEEP diving that I have to do with God in order to execute this. And I think that’s where a lot of things come from as well. Because when I start to question my WHY , it makes me have to question myself and my view of God. For instance I was scared because I know the pain that I’ll have to feel in order to pull this out raw . But I had to ask myself , do you not trust God then? Hasn’t he always taken care of you and your heart? So as I’m trying to process where to go from where I’ve started , it’s a big journey and it almost feels like a sanctification process to get this book done. Y’all pray for me because it is literally pulling all of my issues out of me and exposing me to myself and that’s a huge pill to swallow. Anyways I needed to get it out . If you have any suggestions / comments of encouragement please let me know. 🙏🏾❤️I’m just trying to climb this mountain 😭

Writing can be a deeply personal and transformative journey, especially when it feels like you are obeying a divine call. In this article, we delve into the complexities surrounding creative writing, especially when it involves personal testimonies and vulnerable truths. Many writers struggle with the fear of exposing their past struggles or feelings, particularly when their stories could impact others deeply. This fear often stems from a desire for authenticity and a concern about how the message will be received. The process of writing about one's faith can lead to profound self-exploration, which is both challenging and rewarding. It requires introspection and a willingness to confront uncomfortable feelings and past traumas. Writers often grapple with the question of whether their experiences resonate with the teachings of their faith, and how to represent those experiences truthfully while being considerate of their audience. Engaging in supportive communities, such as writing groups or faith-based groups, can provide encouragement and honest feedback, helping writers to refine their narratives and find clarity in their writing process. Seeking mentorship from those who have published their works can also prove invaluable. This guidance can help clarify concerns about authenticity and ensure that the writer's expression aligns with their core beliefs. As you support writers in their journey, remember that overcoming fear is a shared experience. The ongoing dialogues about vulnerability can encourage more writers to share their stories, ultimately fostering a richer and more diverse discourse within the literary and spiritual communities.
