You Didn’t Loose Yourself….
Before you get frustrated with somebody else’s process, remember yours. Somebody prayed for you, invited you, mentored you, and kept showing up for you. You didn’t untie yourself.

In life, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed when progress seems slow or when comparing our journeys to others. However, understanding that we are often held up by the prayers, invitations, and mentorship of people around us brings a profound sense of gratitude and perspective. The phrase "You didn’t untie yourself" underscores that we don’t break free on our own; often, God sends others to help loosen the bonds that hold us back. Reflecting on Luke 19:28-36, where Jesus instructs his disciples to untie a colt for him to ride, we see an example of being 'loosed' or made ready by others for purpose. Similarly, our breakthroughs and freedom come through the actions and faith of those who come alongside us. They encourage us, guide us, and persistently show up even when we falter. From personal experience, I’ve realized that no matter how independent I strive to be, the encouragement from a mentor or a friend praying for me has made all the difference in moments of doubt. When frustration creeps in due to someone else's pace or approach, recalling this truth helps me appreciate my own process and the unseen support behind it. Embracing this journey with humility and thankfulness can lead to greater resilience and a deeper appreciation for the community around us. Ultimately, acknowledging that we didn’t untie ourselves reminds us to be gentle with our progress and generous in recognizing the hands that have helped loosen the ties that once held us back. This perspective encourages lasting faith, patience, and meaningful connections in our spiritual and personal growth.
