Every Tuesday, I try to dedicate time for reflection and releasing negativity — a practice I call Toxic-Free Tuesday. This day serves as a reminder to outgrow limiting people, places, and patterns that no longer serve my well-being. The process of growth involves embracing change and protecting your peace, even if it means letting go of comfort zones. One key insight I’ve learned is the importance of self-love and honoring oneself. Choosing yourself first allows you to refuse settling for anything less than your peace and happiness. On Toxic-Free Tuesday, I focus on setting boundaries and nurturing positive energy that fuels my motivation and spiritual connection. Additionally, the phrase 'I’m not who I was, and that’s allowed' resonates deeply. Accepting change as a natural growth phase helps me cultivate gratitude and resilience. Pausing regularly to breathe deeply and stay focused anchors me to the present and prepares me to welcome good things that are on the way. Combining this mindset with faith—expressed in gratitude like 'To God be the Glory'—adds profound meaning to the practice. It reminds me that growth is a journey supported by divine grace, and embracing it fully leads to a more joyful, peaceful, and blessed life. Toxic-Free Tuesday isn’t just about removing toxicity but about actively choosing to thrive in every season of life.
