The idea of wealth is not only the numbers in bank accounts, but also the quality and freedom to live. Wealth can be divided into two main categories that complement each other:
1. Financial Wealth
It is the ability to access and manage financial resources, which are the foundation of stability and freedom:
• Security: Having sufficient reserves to meet necessary expenses, and the ability to face unforeseen events without debt.
• Freedom: Having an income that allows us to choose what work, where and whenever, or even choose not to work at all.
• Growth: Having a passive income-generating property and growing over time.
2. Life Wealth
It is wealth that is invaluable by money, but it is the sum of the non-monetary elements that make life meaningful and full:
• Time Freedom: Having plenty of time for activities we value, such as family, hobbies, or leisure.
• Health and Well-Being: Being healthy and physically and mentally is a key basis that allows us to enjoy financial wealth.
• Strong Relationships: Having family, friends, and a community that sincerely loves and supports us.
• Purpose and Meaning: Having goals greater than yourself and feeling fulfilled by doing something valuable
Balance is real wealth.
True wealth is the achievement of a balance between these two types. Having a lot of money but no time or health is not sustainable wealth. On the other hand, having a great life but no financial security is stressful.
