You plant your feet and ready yourself as the stone guardians fully awaken. Dust cascades from their shoulders, and their hollow eyes burn with pale blue fire. They move slow but with terrifying weight, each step shaking the hill.

You dodge the first swing—its fist slams into the ground, cracking stone where you stood a moment ago. Instinct takes over. You channel every bit of will, gripping your weapon tight as the system flares before your eyes.

You strike. Sparks fly as metal meets enchanted stone. The guardian staggers but doesn’t fall. Its partner lunges, forcing you into a roll, and your pulse hammers in your ears.

Then—a flash. Your earlier contact with the runes seems to respond, glowing brighter as your weapon connects again. A fracture runs through the guardian’s chest before it crumbles to dust.

The other freezes mid-swing, its fire dimming before it kneels… as if recognizing your strength.
