grwm first day back at school
Hey everyone! Can you believe it's already time for the first day back to school? I always get a mix of butterflies and excitement. To help ease into the morning rush, I've got my trusty 'Get Ready With Me' routine, and I thought I'd share it with you all. It’s all about feeling confident and comfortable, without spending hours in front of the mirror! First things first, a good morning starts with a good skincare routine. I keep it super simple for school days: a quick splash of cold water to wake up my face, followed by a light moisturizer with SPF. Always protect your skin, even on cloudy days! After that, I move onto a very natural makeup look. For me, it’s about enhancing, not covering up. I usually opt for a bit of concealer under the eyes, a touch of brow gel to tame my brows, and a swipe of mascara. Lately, I've been loving a sheer lip tint – something like the 'PINK PALMI DF' for a subtle blush of color that lasts through classes and lunch. It’s quick, easy, and makes me feel put-together. Next up is the outfit! The key for the first day back is comfort combined with a hint of style. You'll be sitting, walking, and probably running into old friends, so you want to feel good. I usually pick out my outfit the night before to avoid any morning dilemmas. Today, I went with a classic pair of jeans, a soft oversized sweater, and my favorite sneakers. It’s casual, but still looks neat. Pairing it with some simple accessories, like a delicate necklace or a few rings, can elevate the whole look without being distracting. Hair is another quick one for me. I’m all about low-maintenance styles for school. Sometimes it’s a high ponytail, other days a messy bun, or just leaving it down. I often use a soft 'PALM PUFF' scrunchie to keep my hair out of my face if I need to focus in class, or just for a cute touch. It keeps things tidy and adds a bit of flair without much effort. Remember, a good hair day can seriously boost your confidence! Finally, don't forget your bag essentials! Beyond your textbooks and notebooks, I always pack a small emergency kit: a mini hand sanitizer, lip balm, a couple of hair ties, and a portable charger. Staying hydrated is super important too, so a reusable water bottle is a must-have. A healthy snack can also be a lifesaver during those long lessons. Getting organized the night before really helps make the morning less stressful. So there you have it – my first-day-back-at-school GRWM! It’s all about finding what works for you to feel ready, confident, and excited to tackle a new school year. Wishing everyone a fantastic start to their school year – let's make some amazing memories!
