Poppi vs. Olipop: My Honest Review

#tastecheckedonlemon8 #lemon8challenge I decided to compare Poppi and Olipop to see which one I actually liked better. I tried them based on taste, fizz, flavor, and overall experience.

For me, Poppi is the winner. I like the flavor more, it feels more refreshing, and it’s the one I would personally choose to buy again. Olipop has some good qualities too, but Poppi fits my taste better.

Everyone’s preferences are different, so this is just my honest opinion! Have you tried Poppi or Olipop? Which one is your favorite?

... Read moreChoosing between Poppi and Olipop comes down mostly to personal preference, but there are some interesting factors beyond just taste that influenced my choice. Poppi stands out for its refreshing flavor profile, which is partly thanks to its use of organic apple cider vinegar and organic agave inulin. These ingredients not only add a unique tartness but also provide prebiotic fiber that supports gut health. In fact, Poppi contains around 2g of fiber per serving, which is rare for a sparkling soda. The natural ingredients like apple juice concentrate and stevia help keep the sugar content low—about 4g per can—making it a lighter option compared to traditional sodas. On the other hand, Olipop offers a slightly different health angle that appeals to those looking for more fiber and botanical benefits. With its blend of botanicals such as marshmallow root, calendula flower, and nopal cactus, Olipop supports digestive health differently through a combination of plant fibers totaling 6g per serving. It has slightly more calories but still maintains a low glycemic load, making it a smart choice for sustained energy without blood sugar spikes. Fizz and mouthfeel also played a role in my preference. Poppi's carbonation feels crisp but gentle, enhancing the refreshing sensation without overwhelming the palate. Olipop’s fizz is a bit more pronounced, which some might prefer, especially in flavors like Ginger Lemon or Raspberry Rose. Ultimately, I found Poppi’s flavor combinations, such as the Raspberry Rose variety, to be more enjoyable and well-balanced with its moderate sweetness. However, if your aim is to maximize prebiotic intake and botanical diversity, Olipop is a strong contender. In my personal experience, sipping Poppi regularly has been a pleasant way to enjoy soda without guilt, and I've noticed an uptick in my daily fiber intake without changing much else in my diet. Both brands champion a new kind of soda—one where health meets enjoyment. If you’re someone who values taste with a health-conscious edge, trying both can help you decide which best complements your lifestyle.
