TV lover 🥰.
Hey fellow TV lovers! 📺 As someone who practically lives for their next binge-watch, I know the struggle of finding that perfect show. With so many amazing series out there, it can be overwhelming to pick. But don't worry, your resident "TV girl" has got you covered! I've put together my current top TV show picks for 2024 that I think everyone needs to add to their watch list. First up, if you're like me and always on the hunt for the "best Lemon8 shows 2024," you've probably heard a lot of buzz. One show that absolutely captivated me recently is "The Diplomat" on Netflix. It's smart, sharp, and has a fantastic cast. I was hooked from episode one! It’s a political thriller, but it's also incredibly witty and character-driven. It's definitely one of those series that makes you think, and the pacing is just perfect for a weekend binge. Another one that truly stands out this year is "Shōgun" on Hulu/Disney+. The cinematography is breathtaking, and the storytelling is just epic. It transported me completely to feudal Japan, and I can't recommend it enough if you appreciate historical dramas with a lot of depth. These are definitely making my "top 100 shows" list for sure! Now, for those of you searching for "shows like Sex and the City and Desperate Housewives," I totally get it. We all love a good dose of glamour, friendship, and a little bit of drama, right? If you're missing that iconic vibe, you absolutely have to check out "Emily in Paris" on Netflix. It brings that same fashion-forward, romantic comedy energy with beautiful Parisian backdrops. It's perfect for a lighthearted escape! For something with a bit more mystery and darker humor, similar to "Desperate Housewives," I'd suggest "Why Women Kill" on Paramount+. It’s an anthology series, so each season is a new story, but they all share that deliciously dark narrative about women navigating complex relationships and secrets. Trust me, it's a wild ride! And speaking of complex relationships, if you're intrigued by shows with strong, "assertive" characters that really drive the plot, you might enjoy diving into something like "Succession" (HBO Max/Max). While it's not a romance, the power dynamics and bold personalities are incredibly engaging. Or, if you're looking for something with a powerful female lead making her own way, "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" (Prime Video) is pure joy. She’s assertive, hilarious, and just lights up the screen with her journey. While I haven't watched "My Assertive Lover episode 10" specifically, these kinds of shows capture that spirit of strong characters taking charge of their lives. I've found so many amazing series this year, and I'm always adding to my personal list. These recommendations are just a few of my current favorites that I think offer something for everyone. From gripping thrillers to heartwarming comedies and stylish dramas, there's a whole world of entertainment waiting for you. What are your favorite shows right now? Have you watched any of these? Let me know in the comments below! I'd love to hear what else I should add to my queue! Happy watching! 🍿
