... Read moreServing eight years in the Air Force was a significant chapter of my life that shaped who I am today. Transitioning from military to civilian life brought a mix of emotions—pride in my service, relief at completing my term, and challenges adjusting to a new routine. One thing many don’t realize is how being a disabled veteran adds another layer to adaptation. People often see a stay-at-home mom and make assumptions, but behind that role is someone who has faced both physical and mental hurdles from their time in service. Living with disabilities acquired during my duty has required an adjustment in how I manage daily life, but it has also deepened my resilience and gratitude. Support networks, like veteran organizations and local community groups, have been invaluable. They provide not only assistance but also a sense of belonging and understanding. It’s important for anyone leaving the military to connect with these resources early on. Embracing military life taught me discipline and commitment, qualities that help immensely after service. Yet, I also learned to prioritize self-care and mental health, especially as a veteran managing disabilities. Sharing my story is part of breaking down stereotypes and encouraging fellow veterans to seek help and stay connected. Ultimately, life after the Air Force is about finding new purpose. Whether that’s through family, community work, or personal goals, the journey continues with strength gained from service and the challenges overcome.

100 Years of Makeup - 1920s
This was a personal project I’ve been working on and I’m excited to share my 100 years of makeup looks! The first decade is 1920s. For this decade, I took inspiration from Clara Bow, a star of the 1920s. First things first, I had to block out my brows and apply my foundation - I went a bit light

Eating in a calorie deficit is soooo important when it comes to fat loss (especially belly fat). If you’re unsure of how many calories you’re supposed to be eating then google a TDEE calculator, input your info, and it’ll tell you your numbers for maintenance and weightloss. Weight lifting play

4 YEARS ⬇️ THE DRAIN 🥺💔??
LONG POST ALERT BUT PLS BARE WITH ME. I really didn’t think I would graduate from my HBCU, let alone on time. I graduated high school at age 17 in 2020, during the COVID pandemic and came straight to college on a full ride scholarship. Looking back, if I could decide to not graduate early I would.

5 years, no proposal... should I keep waiting?
I've been with my partner for 5 amazing years. We're deeply in love, and I thought for sure he'd propose by now. But... nothing. No hints, no discussions, no ring shopping. It's like the topic doesn't exist. I've tried bringing it up casually, but he changes the subject. I
