Decide on your theme and color scheme well in advance. For my baby sister's pink birthday, we knew exactly what balloons and accents we needed. I recommend getting all your supplies ready a day or two before – balloons, pumps, string, tape, and any other decorative elements. This way, when it's 'go-time' at 9:00 PM, you're not scrambling. One of the biggest impacts you can make is with a stunning balloon decoration setup. While a literal 'balloon decoration ring' might sound daunting, you can achieve a beautiful circular or arch effect with a balloon garland kit or by using a flexible wire hoop as a base.
