For context, the hair loss started around the time I got Covid. Also, around that time I started on a higher dose of Vyvanse, my ADHD medicine. I’m at a loss, my hair has been my pride and joy for so long as it’s always been thick and has grown very fast.

It's essential to understand that both Covid-19 and medications like Vyvanse may contribute to hair thinning. Stress, hormonal changes, and nutritional deficiencies are other common factors affecting hair health.
Incorporating natural treatments can yield positive results. Rosemary oil has shown promise in promoting hair growth due to its ability to stimulate blood circulation in the scalp. Biotin supplements, often recommended for hair, skin, and nails, can support overall hair strength, but it’s crucial to consult with a healthcare provider before starting new supplements, especially if iron levels are already elevated.
Regular scalp massages can also promote blood flow and help with hair follicle health. Moreover, maintaining a balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals, particularly those known for enhancing hair health like Vitamin D and omega-3 fatty acids, is beneficial.
If symptoms persist or worsen, consulting a dermatologist might be necessary to investigate underlying causes and consider other treatments, including topical solutions or medications designed specifically for hair loss. Remember, recovery takes time, and a multifaceted approach may be the key to restoring your hair’s vitality.
