Beeners ❤️
Waking up Christmas morning to mom coming into my room, and seeing her carrying your favorite basket, was the moment I knew. The moment I knew that you were gone. As much as my heart broke into a million pieces, I was so happy that I took the chance to go into Mom and Dad’s bedroom the night before to kiss you goodnight. And as much as I miss you, I’m happy you went peacefully and you’re not exhausted and suffering anymore. You were my beeners, and I love you. And I always will. I taught you how to high-five, and I will always be giving them to you no matter what. High-fives for life! I will miss spoiling you with treats, and mom sharing her milk with you. I will always remember how you would run to me smiling when I would squat down with my arms open on walks, calling you to me. Watching you grow and adjust over the years, I remember when we used to have to bring you back into the house from the yard on a leash because you would run down the street as fast you can. I had to carry you one time on a ten minute walk back to the house, because you ran so fast, I didn’t have time to get a leash, and you went so far down the road. I still mentally thank that lady for catching you with her extra leash for me. I will also always keep in my head and heart how you would “bury” your treats in the middle of the carpet and pushing the carpet with your nose to “cover” it, even though we could all still see it right there in the middle of the floor. I will even miss you sneaking up on me in the kitchen as you’d run up behind me and scare the crap out of me because I never heard you enter the room. I miss and love you Binah. You will always be my beeners forever ❤️
Pets play a vital role in our lives, offering companionship, unconditional love, and countless joyful moments. Losing a pet can be one of the most challenging experiences, as they become beloved members of our families. Celebrating the memories we shared, like playtime, cuddles, and their quirky behaviors, helps us remember the joy they brought into our lives. Many pet owners can relate to the special moments experienced, such as the excitement of greeting your pet after a long day or their innocent mischief that brings laughter. These memories become treasures that we carry in our hearts, reflecting the unique personality of our pets. Pet loss is a journey of healing, filled with emotions of sadness, nostalgia, and gratitude for the time spent together. Creating a memorial, sharing stories, or participating in support groups can aid in navigating this difficult time, allowing others to share their own experiences and memories. As you honor your late pet, remember to cherish the lessons they taught you about love, loyalty, and living life to the fullest. Each unique personality enriches our lives, reminding us to embrace every moment with those we love—human or furry. High-fives for life, indeed!
