A small collection of things I’ve learnt as my heart stretched in ways I never knew possible

Read moreDuring these early days of motherhood, I've come to realize that the most precious milestones aren't found in schedules or checklists but in the small, intimate moments that often go unnoticed. For example, I measure my days by your feeding times and the soft weight of your head resting in my hand — a gentle reminder that time is now defined by love and presence rather than productivity. I’ve also noticed how the world outside keeps moving, full of noise and expectations, yet life with you invites a new rhythm — one that slows me down and teaches patience. The books and advice I read before didn’t fully prepare me for this profound transformation, especially the way motherhood reshapes my understanding of unconditional love. This love isn’t about achieving goals or perfection; it’s about growing alongside you and learning who I’m becoming as your parent. The exhaustion, the uncertainty, even the quiet moments of doubt are met with a kind of grace that feels sacred. Each day brings new lessons and a deeper appreciation for the softness and strength within me. In embracing these first 100 days, I've seen how love doesn’t keep score but builds a foundation for the life ahead. It's a journey of presence and soft rhythms, where success is found in gentle embraces rather than milestones crossed. Truly, these hundred days have been a remarkable chapter of transformation, reminding me that in motherhood, love is the greatest teacher.
