Alignment Restored🕯️

The enemy rarely starts with your spirit.

He starts with your senses. That’s what happened in Eden.

Eve saw 👀 the fruit.

It looked good😍

It stirred desire.

Then her soul agreed with what her flesh wanted.

Genesis says the fruit was good for food,

pleasant to the eyes, and desirable for wisdom.

The enemy didn’t force sin.

He influenced perception, and once the soul agreed, the body followed.

That pattern still shows up today.

Your spirit already knows what aligns with God. But the flesh whispers louder sometimes.

Spirit says trust God.

Flesh says satisfy yourself.

The soul decides which voice wins.

That’s why Scripture doesn’t say “fix your body first.” It says:

Be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Romans 12:2

Because when the soul is renewed, the spirit leads again and the body falls back into order.

... Read moreIn my personal journey, I have found that spiritual alignment truly begins with awareness—recognizing that the battle often starts with our senses and perceptions rather than direct attacks on the spirit. Like the story of Eve in Genesis, the allure isn’t immediate sin but a seduction of the eyes and emotions, which then influence our soul’s decisions. I’ve experienced moments where my flesh whispered tempting promises of comfort and pleasure (“Omg girl do what makes you feel good” or “Just once...I want all the tea”), while my spirit urged trust in deeper, more lasting truths. It’s a real tug-of-war, and the place where victory is claimed is the soul—the inner decision-maker. Renewing the mind daily through prayer, meditation on scripture, and self-reflection has helped me strengthen this inner resolve. Romans 12:2 reminds us to be transformed by the renewing of the mind, showing that changing our thought patterns influences the soul’s alignment and allows the spirit to guide our actions, leading the body back into harmonious order. This transformation doesn’t happen overnight but is a continual process of choosing which voice to listen to. What has also helped me is understanding that the enemy’s strategy revolves around influencing perception and stirring desires, not forcing sin outright. When we master our perceptions and fill our minds with godly wisdom, we shield the soul from agreeing with fleshly cravings. Understanding the dynamics of spirit, soul, and body is empowering. It clarifies that we aren’t locked in a losing battle; we just need to cultivate a stronger mind and soul that align with the spirit’s lead. Sharing this insight has made me appreciate that restoring alignment is about intentional daily steps—choosing trust over fleeting satisfaction and allowing the spirit to shine through renewed thoughts and decisions. If you’re navigating similar struggles, I encourage you to pay attention to the subtle whispers your flesh and soul exchange. Embrace spiritual practices that renew your mind and reaffirm your spirit's leadership. Over time, this alignment restores peace and clarity, embodying the true balance God intended.
