Czech 5 Sexual Threatening Behavior! New Law Harder Penalty Up to 5 Years' Prison

1 January 2026 The Gazette published the Criminal Code Amendment Act (No. 30 / 2025), in force from 30 December 2025 onwards, upgrading the conquest of sexual harassment (Sexual Harassment) to cover and with harsher penalties for the protection of human rights and dignity in today's society.

This law extends the coverage of sexual behavior, even without physical contact, if it annoys, shames, or frightens the offender immediately, divided into five risky behaviors:

1. Verbal / gesture: teasing, criticizing puppets, staring like a lick, or whistling.

Penalty: 1 year imprisonment / 20,000 baht fine

2. Online: Send a lust chat, send porn pictures or threatening comments on social media.

Penalty: 3 years imprisonment / 60,000 baht fine

3. Physical: Tapping, catching, petting without the other's consent.

Penalty: 1 year imprisonment / 20,000 baht fine

.

4.Use the power of rape: If the doer is a boss, teacher, teacher, or supervisor.

Penalty: 3 years imprisonment / 60,000 baht fine

5.Committed against children under 15 years of age: considered the heaviest penalty without disregard of consent.

Penalty: 5 years imprisonment / 100,000 baht fine

For those threatened, expressing clearly as non-consensual, keeping evidence such as chat screenshots or audio recordings and promptly informing the prosecution, as the new law clearly specifies criminal penalties to prevent the matter from being seen as merely joking anymore.
