Sanitary Plumbing System
Sanitary Plumbing System in the bathroom, whose heart is to effectively remove wastewater without leaving odors.
Here is a detailed description of the principles and parts:
1. Core Principles
The sewage drainage system works by virtue of 3 main principles:
• Gravity Flow: The sewerage must have a slope (Slope). The standard is about 2%, or about 1 / 4 inch per foot, to allow water and sewage to flow along the pipe itself without residue.
• Trap System: Use "water" as a barrier to prevent stink or insects from the main drain from coming back into the bathroom.
• Venting: (clearly seen in picture 3) is a pipe that connects to the roof to drain the air pressure in the pipe, allowing water to flow fluently and preventing the formation of a vacuum that will suck water out of the smell trap.
2.Key parts details
A. Odor trapping equipment (Traps)
• P-Trap / Sifao / Bottle Trap: Under the Sync Wash Face or Built-In Bidet with a P or U-shaped arc that retains water at all times. This part of the water acts as a wall against odors from public pipes.
• Floor Trap (floor scent catcher): Often in the shower zone area. There is a top grill and a pool of water below to prevent scents as well.
B. Aqueduct (Waste & Soil Pipes)
• Waste Pipe (sewerage pipe): Used to drain water from a sink or shower (usually 1.5 - 2 inches or 40-50 mm)
• Soil Pipe (sewage pipe): Used to drain directly from a toilet toilet (often larger than 3 - 4 inches or 100 mm) to prevent blockage.
• Wye Connection (Y-shaped three-way joint): (seen in picture 3) Used to bridge two pipes together at an oblique angle to provide the most fluid flow direction, reducing resistance and sediment deposition.
C. Cleaning and inspection points (Maintenance)
• Inspection Chamber / Ponto de Limpeza: (seen in images 1 and 2) is an open point for clearing a pipe or pipe penetration when a blockage occurs, often in the area of a turning point or pipe junction.
D. Water Supply System - Only Image 2
• Cold Water Line (Cold Water Hose): Usually Blue (PVC) or White Pipe
• Hot Water Line (Hot Water Line): Usually using red pipe or high heat resistant green pipe (PPR)
• Health Faucet: Toilet Injection Line Overview Summary:
The correct system (as pictured 2 and 3) must have a clear pipe classification, a proper incline, and a ventilation system to ensure smooth and non-foul-smelling use of the home.
