I hate when everyone leaves me alone, as usual, I’m so sad
Losing a close friend can deeply affect our emotional well-being, especially when it happens unexpectedly like during an important moment such as the first day of a new dance class. From my own experience, the pain of a lost friendship often leaves feelings of sadness and isolation that can be overwhelming. It’s important to accept these feelings and allow ourselves time to grieve. Expressing sadness openly, whether through talking to someone trusted, journaling, or even dancing as a form of emotional release can help. The message received — "I don't wanna be around you anymore" — can feel like a heavy blow, shaking your confidence and sense of belonging. But remember, friendships sometimes change or end, and this isn’t a reflection of your worth. Redirect your energy to self-care activities like listening to your favorite music or focusing on hobbies that bring joy and calm. Joining group activities like dance classes also presents opportunities to meet new people and rebuild your social circle. It might take time, but new friendships and support networks can form in unexpected places. Above all, be kind to yourself and understand that feeling "so sad" and left alone is a natural human response to loss. You’re not alone in this experience, and reaching out for understanding or sharing your story can make a difference. Has anyone else experienced losing a friend this way? Sharing how you coped could help others going through similar pain.
