Learning from here on out

When working with a professional, regardless of what you may have learned in your training, real world activities, and the way things are done may be slightly different from what you have learned that doesn’t mean you throw out what you have learned. It’s mean that you look at yourself reinvent yourself learn as much as you can from that professional who knows what they like because they’ve been doing it for sometime and with that in mind I’ve did some research to align with what the professional gave me as far as knowledge was concerned boy it changes the whole world and I just wanna say thank you to their professional

I also think that if you look at the video, I was kind of liking a little rush which I should’ve never been. There is some distortions in the video that I noticed and I know they noticed, but I felt so bad because I did it and it came out not like it was supposed to. I should’ve stopped and not giving it to him at all and asked for a race shoot but I didn’t do that and as you can see the glare on the lens of the lighting the windows it’s because I had purchased the day before some clear lenses to cover the lenses that are on the camera so that I don’t damage the camera, but in actuality, it caused a big problem with this kind of flare or blur or whatever you wanna call it besides that in the video I’m not just documenting a house. I am creating a marketing asset for realtors. I am collecting short, high impact moments, not walk-through footage. I prioritize clean lines level frames and controlled movement during the shoot. I should capture 5 to 7 strong shots per property that could stand alone kitchen and main living areas get priority avoid long hallways fast turns and unnecessary movement after the shoot I do not post raw walk-throughs I extract one to two second clips for my strongest shots. My Target Real length is 10 to 20 seconds.

... Read moreWorking closely with experienced professionals is invaluable in the field of real estate video marketing. From my own journey, I’ve learned that training provides a foundation, but adapting to real-world expectations—especially those of seasoned professionals—can truly elevate your work. For instance, I once made the mistake of rushing a shoot, which led to visible distortions and lens flares caused by an ill-suited protective lens. While protecting equipment is important, this taught me to consider how each accessory affects final footage. When shooting properties, I focus on quality over quantity. Instead of recording long walk-throughs, I capture 5 to 7 carefully composed shots per property. This approach highlights key spaces like kitchens and main living areas, maintaining clean lines and smooth, controlled camera movement. Avoiding fast turns and long hallways helps keep the viewer engaged without disorientation. Post-shoot editing is equally critical. I don’t share raw footage; rather, I extract one- to two-second clips of my strongest shots. This creates a concise video, typically 10 to 20 seconds, that serves as a powerful marketing asset for realtors. From my experience, such short, high-impact moments resonate better with prospective buyers and support effective online promotion. In summary, embracing professional advice, being mindful during filming, and applying strategic editing can significantly improve your property marketing videos. These lessons have helped me grow personally and professionally, reinforcing the value of continuous learning and adaptation in real estate photography and videography.
