「メンズ香水＝ハイブランドが正解？」って一度は思うけど、正直いきなり高額ボトルを買うのはハードル高いですよね。私も最初は失敗したくなくて、まず“ハイブランドっぽい方向性”をZARAで試してから本命を買う流れに落ち着きました。ZARAは価格が控えめなのに、香りの作りがちゃんとしていて、好みの系統探しにかなり便利です。 選び方のコツは「どのシーンで使うか」を先に決めること。例えば、清潔感重視で毎日使いたいなら、SUNRISE ON THE RED SAND DUNESみたいなシトラス×スパイスが強い味方。アウトドアやデイリーで“爽やかだけじゃない深み”が出るので、軽すぎる香りが物足りない人にも合います。 次に、ハイブランドで人気が出やすいのがレザー系。ただ「レザーって重そう…」と感じる人が多いのも事実。そんなときはLTH/01 STILL L.E.A.T.H.E.R.みたいに、最初がフルーティ（ラズベリー）で入りやすく、そこからじわじわスモーキーなレザーに寄っていくタイプがおすすめです。香りの変化があるので“ただ濃いだけ”になりにくく、大人っぽさだけ足したい日に使いやすいです。 そして、夜のお出かけや特別なシーンで「それどこの？」って聞かれやすいのがBLUE SPIRITみたいなマリン。波の音が聞こえそうな静けさ＋色気があって、ハイブランドの“夜用フレグランス”っぽいムードを作りやすい印象でした。 最後に失敗しにくい付け方。まずは1プッシュを手首か首の後ろに。強く感じたら、服の内側（ウエスト付近）にワンプッシュにするとふわっと香ります。買う前に迷ったら、毎日用＝シトラス、雰囲気出し＝マリン、背伸びしたい日＝レザー、の3択で選ぶとブレません。ZARAで方向性を掴んでからハイブランドに行くと、無駄買いがかなり減りました。
