Hey fragrance fam! 👋 Following up on my recent 'perfumes of the week' post where I shared my current obsessions like Glossier You Doux and Commodity Milk, I've been thinking about expanding my scent horizons, and maybe yours too! It's always fun to stumble upon new gems, especially ones that might be flying under the radar for some. Lately, I've seen some buzz around scents that aren't on my usual tray, and I wanted to chat about them because they sound absolutely captivating. First up, Alesha Arabian. When I hear "Arabian" in a perfume name, my mind immediately goes to luxurious, rich, and often deep scents. Think opulent oud, warm amber, and intoxicating musk, sometimes with a hint of spicy florals or sweet dates. If you're someone who loves a fragrance with incredible projection and longevity, something that makes a statement without being overpowering, exploring Arabian-inspired perfumes like those hinted at by 'Alesha Arabian' could be a game-changer. They often have a warm, inviting quality that's perfect for evening wear or when you want to feel truly enveloped in a scent, maybe a completely different vibe than my light and airy Iris Cartagena. Then there's Tory Burch Daring Rose. For all my fellow rose lovers out there, this one sounds intriguing! Rose fragrances can be so versatile – from fresh and dewy garden roses to deep, jammy, or even spicy interpretations. A 'daring' rose suggests it might not be your grandma's rose; perhaps it has an unexpected twist, a modern edge, or a captivating blend of notes that makes the rose truly stand out. If you appreciate the classic beauty of rose but crave something with a bit more personality, this could be a fantastic discovery. It makes me think of how Vanilla Matrimony offers a twist on a classic sweet note. I've also been curious about Marigold Perfume. Marigold as a fragrance note is super unique! It can bring a beautiful, slightly green, herbaceous, and sometimes subtly honeyed or spicy facet to a composition. It's not as common as floral or citrus notes, which makes it all the more interesting. A perfume featuring marigold could offer a bright, uplifting, and distinctive aroma, perhaps with an earthy undertone that makes it feel very natural and grounded. If you're looking for something that stands apart from the typical floral or gourmand, and you enjoy a touch of natural, slightly bitter-sweet complexity, a marigold-centric scent could be your next signature. It reminds me of the unique character Snif Crumb Couture brings with its unexpected gourmand twist. Finally, La Fede Celebrity Crush. This name just screams fun and playful! Celebrity fragrances often hit that sweet spot of being widely appealing, easy to wear, and usually have a memorable, inviting quality. A 'celebrity crush' scent likely leans towards a crowd-pleasing profile – perhaps a sweet, fruity floral, or a warm, vanilla-infused concoction that makes you feel effortlessly chic and desirable. If you enjoy scents that are approachable, radiate confidence, and have that 'compliment magnet' aura, then exploring perfumes in this vein could be really exciting. It's similar to the cozy, comforting vibe of my Glossier You Doux but perhaps with a bolder, more playful edge. What do you think of these? Have any of you tried Alesha Arabian, Tory Burch Daring Rose, Marigold Perfume, or La Fede Celebrity Crush? I'm always on the hunt for new recommendations and love hearing about what scents make you feel amazing. Let's keep sharing our fragrance journeys!
