Fragrances new to my collection
Ripe – Henry Rose
My latest obsession. Juicy and airy with lychee and watermelon up top, layered over soft florals like peony and rose water. It dries down into a clean, musky, slightly creamy skin scent that feels fresh, bright, and easy to wear. It has that early 2000s energy, but feels super chic and put together.
The Forward – Mind Games
Salt is my favorite note in the summer, so I had to try this. Bright citrus up top with lemon and pomelo, but it quickly melts into this creamy, slightly salty vanilla and tonka situation. It’s fresh but still soft and warm, which makes it really addictive.
Bijou Zafran – Ormonde Jayne
A saffron and pear opening that feels both spicy and softly fruity, then it deepens into iris, leather, and warm amber. A little too intense for my taste, but really beautifully done.
Rose Magnitude – Goldfield & Banks
You have to listen to Dimitri Weber talk about his inspiration for this scent, it completely changes how you experience it. A rose that feels textured and modern, with raspberry and spice at the top and a creamy, woody vanilla and sandalwood base. It’s not a delicate rose, it’s more earthy and dry, like petals shaped by heat and landscape rather than a garden.
Bohemian Infusion – Thameen London
This will sound weird, but this smells like my dad in the best way. A citrusy, aromatic opening with grapefruit and blackcurrant that turns into something spicier and more resinous. It sits between that classic cologne feel and deeper amber woods, so it comes off nostalgic but still really polished.
Lilac Wine – Art Meets Art
An aromatic, almost boozy floral built around lavender, violet, and plum. It feels smooth and slightly melancholic, like a soft woody fougère with a romantic quality. I love this on my husband
