Junk Journal Ideas Part 2

... Read moreHey fellow craft enthusiasts! If you're anything like me, you're always on the hunt for fresh, unique junk journal ideas to make your pages pop. My latest crafting session led to some truly inspiring discoveries, and I can't wait to share how I brought these aesthetic junk journal spread concepts to life! What I love most about junk journaling is the freedom to create a beautiful, personal space from everyday ephemera and whatever sparks joy. One of my absolute favorite new additions is my washi tape gallery. Instead of just sticking strips down, I dedicated a full spread to showcasing different patterns. I drew little frames and 'hung' tiny pieces of washi tape inside, almost like a miniature art exhibition! It was totally Pinterest junk journal ideas inspired, and I even drew some cute patterns myself. This method is fantastic for using up those smaller tape pieces and creating a vibrant, textured look that adds so much to the junk journal collage aesthetic. Next up, I had a blast creating a dedicated Shein sticker spread. We all know Shein has an amazing (and affordable!) selection of stickers. I found that grouping them by theme or color palette really elevates the look. For instance, I used black and white aesthetic stickers for one side, creating a chic monochromatic feel, and then bright, warm-toned sunset and nature stickers on the other. It's a great way to organize your collection and get junk journal inspo from your own supplies! And for something truly playful, I tried a blind box spread! If you collect mini figures or plush toys, this is such a fun way to incorporate them. I used stickers of characters from the 'jotoys Animal Preschool' series and even attached a little plush toy blind box to the page. It makes for an interactive and super cute addition to your journal, bringing personality to every flip. Finally, for a touch of seasonal charm, I designed a Holiday Wishlist spread. Using scrap-style elements and festive Christmas decorations, I made a functional yet beautiful page. Think about incorporating little flaps for hidden wishes or pockets for gift ideas. It's not just for Christmas – you can adapt this for any season or occasion, making your handmade journal ideas practical and pretty. Don't forget to look for junk journal examples everywhere – from old magazines to nature walks. Collect interesting textures, small pieces of fabric, dried flowers, or even pretty receipts. Even if you're into bullet journal inspiration, these creative elements can easily be adapted to add a unique, artistic touch. The key is to let your creativity flow and enjoy the process of making something truly yours!
