We were seated in our knight's section – ours was the Red Knight! – and given our crown. The seating is stadium-style, so everyone gets a great view of the action. And let's talk about the feast! When they say 'feast like royalty,' they're not kidding. We had delicious roasted chicken, corn on the cob, potato, and even tomato soup, all served without cutlery. Yes, you eat with your hands, just like they did in medieval times! It adds so much to the authenticity and fun of the experience. Don't worry, they provide plenty of napkins! If you have any dietary restrictions, make sure to let them know when you book; they're usually very accommodating with vegetarian or gluten-free options. The main event, of course, is the show itself. The jousting, sword fights, and horsemanship are absolutely breathtaking. The knights are incredibly skilled, and the horses are magnificent. The story unfolds with a classic tale of chivalry and honor, and the audience participation is key. You'll find yourself cheering loudly for your knight, booing the villains, and really getting into the spirit of it all. My kids were on the edge of their seats the whole time, completely captivated by the spectacle. It’s loud, it’s exciting, and it’s genuinely thrilling for all ages. After the show, you can meet some of the cast and even get autographs, which was a lovely touch and made the kids feel extra special. Parking was easy to find at the Scottsdale location, and the staff were all super friendly and helpful throughout our visit.
