When forecasting a major weather event like the current winter storm that's on track to impact a large swath of the country, it becomes a two-part approach.

You have the forecasting end when relaying timing, precipitation type, and accumulation, but a good forecast isn't good if you don't know what to do with the information.

That's where the response comes in.

I'm going to be sharing a series of posts that help you understand the safety practices you should know moving forward.
