I myself have struggled with Complex PTSD. With that comes Dissociation and Derealization. At night time when I try to go to bed, I will frequently see horrifying faces, figures, hear crying or footsteps, etc. Any dark open space I can vividly see people/things hanging out for usually a few minutes at a time. This frequently causes me issues with sleep, so I take medicine to be able to fall asleep and stay asleep. Anyone who has dealt with sleep disturbances can probably relate to my own struggle. The song Night Terror means alot to me personally because of my personal struggle with the correlation between sleep and mental illness. I’m more than happy to answer any questions and provide resources/recommendations for anyone who might need help!
