Confessions Of A Former Lazy Girl
When I started out this year, I wanted to do so much that I think I over did myself and I got lazy again. BUT NO MORE! Enough is enough for me! My life was a mess. I had horrible cravings all the time. I had gotten back up to the weight I was before I met my partner. It was horrible.
But…
I have finally hit the reset button my life and it just took me 3 months to figure it all out and get back on track. It took a lot to get here but I’m ready to share what I’ve been doing and what I’m working on.
- I started a life style journey, not a fitness journey. Meaning that I want something long term that will be sustainable for me. I stated out with working out 3 times a week in May going into June, and then eventually I worked my way up to 5 days a week. I treat working out like a job.
- I became a 6:30 am workout person. I knew I wasn’t going to come home and work out after dinner after doing trying to do it in the beginning of this journey. I was always to tired and it wasn’t working for me, so I flipped my schedule and decided that I would start my day with a workout instead of ending it with one.
- I started tracking everything I ate. I don’t restrict myself at all when it comes to food. If I want pizza 🍕, I have it but I also hold myself accountable for my actions. I use Loose It and like it.
- I track everything on a calendar now in my kitchen. Nothing brings me more joy than filling up my calendar with color codes that I did something that day. My life has become a little more organized this way and I hold myself accountable this way.
- 80 oz of water will forever be your best friend. I got myself a 40 oz water bottle for this reason. I know if I drink 2 of them, I have hit my water goal.
