Stop Doom Scrolling (After This, Duh)

If you’re reading this, it’s late.

Like everyone is finally asleep, the house is quiet, and you told yourself “just five more minutes” about forty-five minutes ago… late.

Your phone is two inches from your face.

Your eyes are tired but your brain? ✨Wide awake✨

You’ve scrolled past a million reels, half a fight in the comments, three ads that somehow knew exactly what you were insecure about today, and at least one post that made you question if you’re doing motherhood/life/literally anything right.

Let me stop you right here.

You are not behind.

You are not failing.

You are not the only one laying in bed replaying today and overthinking tomorrow.

You’re just tired.

Tired from being needed all day.

Tired from making decisions for everyone but yourself.

Tired from giving and giving and giving—and then finally getting this tiny sliver of quiet that feels too good to waste on sleep.

Nighttime is when we remember who we are.

When the noise shuts off and the thoughts turn up.

When you feel like yourself again… but also somehow more overwhelmed than ever.

So this is your sign:

Put the phone down soon.

Drink some water.

Go to sleep knowing today doesn’t define you.

The dishes can wait.

Tomorrow’s to-do list will still be there.

And you don’t need to have your whole life figured out at midnight.

But first… finish this post.

Because obviously lol

Goodnight, babe.

We did enough today—even if it didn’t feel like it 🤍

Unfiltered. Unbothered. Always. — Peyy
