Favorite Body Wash and Sponge 🫧🧽

Starting the #bodycareroutine challenge with my fav body wash and African net sponge!

I have been using Dr. Bonner’s for years and will probably never switch. I have tried different scents but this is my fav.

My friend introduced the net sponge to me two years ago and I highly recommend getting one because of it exfoliates your body and it’s long enough to wash your back. I get mine from Amazon!

... Read moreYou know how you find those holy grail products that just *work*? For my body care routine, it's hands down Dr. Bronner's Pure-Castile Soap and an African net sponge. I've been a loyal fan of Dr. Bronner's for years, and honestly, I don't see myself ever switching. It's not just a body wash; it's a versatile powerhouse that truly elevates my shower experience. Many people wonder, 'Can you really use castile soap as body wash?' The answer is a resounding YES! But here's the trick: it's highly concentrated, so you absolutely need to dilute it. I typically pour a small amount – maybe a tablespoon or two – into my African net sponge or a separate squeeze bottle and add water. This creates a rich, luxurious lather that cleanses without stripping my skin. One of the reasons I love it so much is its natural, biodegradable formula. Unlike many commercial body washes, Dr. Bronner's uses organic oils and no synthetic foaming agents, which means it’s gentler on my skin and the environment. I've tried a few different scents, but the one with the iconic red label (like the one prominently featured on my body wash bottle!) is a personal favorite for its refreshing feel. Peppermint is fantastic for an invigorating morning shower, while lavender is perfect for a relaxing evening soak, each providing a unique aromatherapy experience. It's amazing how clean and fresh I feel, knowing I'm using a product with simple, natural ingredients that don't leave any residue. Now, let's talk about the game-changer: the African net sponge. My friend introduced me to this gem about two years ago, and I regret not discovering it sooner! If you're tired of traditional loofahs that don't quite get the job done or become breeding grounds for bacteria, you need one of these. The texture is perfect for gentle yet effective exfoliation, sloughing away dead skin cells and leaving my skin feeling incredibly smooth and soft. What I love most is its length – it effortlessly reaches every inch of my back, which means no more awkward contortions trying to scrub those hard-to-reach spots. The open weave design, often seen in a vibrant purple net sponge, allows for quick drying, making it vastly more hygienic than a regular sponge or pouf. This quick-drying feature also prevents mildew and unpleasant odors, which is a huge plus for personal hygiene products. Plus, they are incredibly durable; one sponge can last for months, even up to a year, with proper care! I always stock up on mine from Amazon; they’re so affordable and last ages! Combining Dr. Bronner's with the African net sponge is my ultimate secret for maintaining smooth, healthy skin. The soap cleanses deeply, and the sponge ensures I get a thorough exfoliation, promoting better circulation and helping my moisturizers absorb more effectively afterward. It’s a simple, two-step process that makes a huge difference in how my skin looks and feels. After my shower, my skin feels rejuvenated and ready for hydration. If you're looking to upgrade your personal hygiene products and create a more mindful body care routine, give this dynamic duo a try. You won't be disappointed!
