Aldis Makeup Review 🛍

When I first heard Aldis was selling makeup, I was genuinely curious but skeptical about the quality. After trying their range, especially the $6 warm tone eyeshadow palette, I was pleasantly surprised by how pigmented and blendable the matte shades were. For those who love warm, natural looks without spending a lot, these palettes offer excellent value. However, I found the satin and shimmer shades trickier to apply, requiring a bit more patience and layering for a smooth finish. The blush and highlighter are another highlight worth mentioning. I personally prefer products where I can build the intensity gradually, so the peachy pink blush and champagne shimmer highlighter were perfect. They blended seamlessly without disturbing my foundation and still stood out even after setting powder, which was a huge plus for long wear. One thing to note is the brow gel, which might disappoint if you're used to gels that strongly hold or laminate brows in place. The applicator releases a lot of product, so be careful to avoid messiness. As for the mascara, it was underwhelming—no added length, volume, or lift, just darkened lashes. This made me stick to my tried-and-true mascaras from other brands. From my experience, Aldis makeup is best for those starting with drugstore products or anyone looking for budget-friendly options that don’t compromise too much on quality. Their eyeshadows and complexion products truly stood out, showing that great makeup doesn’t have to be expensive. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on Aldis for future releases!
