Love in your 30s no longer begins with the word "fall in love" impulsively, but often begins with the silent question in your heart, "How long can this person walk with us?" It is not a diminishing love, but a love that is filtered through experience, through disappointment, through the days of a hundred hearts, and then does not return. Until finally, we learn that love is not just a feeling, it is a choice - choose to stay, choose to understand, and choose to grow together.
When we reach the age of three, many things in life become clearer, we know what we want, and more importantly, we know that "nothing is needed." Love is no longer the same risk, but a conscious consideration. We are not looking for the perfect person, but for the "right person." People who talk about tired days, people who don't make us question our values, and those who are next to it, life is easier, not harder.
At this age, overtones may no longer be what we look for. Big bouquet flowers or sweet words may still make you smile, but what is more valuable is a consistent little act - asking for redemption on a hard day, being on the side of a bad day, or even being quiet when together. Love at 30 is not a constantly burning fire, but a warm fire that keeps you comfortable and doesn't go out easily.
Another thing that has changed is that we do not expect the other person to fill every gap in life anymore. We begin to understand that we have to take care of ourselves first. Love becomes an extension of life, not the "whole" of life as before. We do not stick to having someone to feel valued, but we choose someone because they make a good life. It is even better.
Patience at this age is still present, but not the same. We know that relationships need adjustment, but we know more about our boundaries. If one day it is not true, we are brave enough to let go, not because we do not love, but because we love ourselves enough not to be in a place that hurts us repeatedly.
