you lack nothing—he’s just shifting what you think
have you ever felt like you’re running on empty? like no matter how much you pray, push, or pour out, something still feels... missing?
like, God, i’m here. i’m seeking you. i’m doing what you said. but why does it still feel like i don’t have enough?
maybe it’s the job you thought would bring stability.
maybe it’s the relationship you thought was meant to last.
maybe it’s the peace you expected but still haven’t found.
and that’s where doubt starts whispering.
"maybe i missed something."
"maybe i didn’t pray hard enough."
"maybe i’m not where i’m supposed to be."
but sis, lack is an illusion.
matthew 6:33 says seek first the kingdom, and all these things will be added. but let’s be real—sometimes that “adding” part feels slow. like God forgot to press send on your blessings.
but what if the delay isn’t a denial?
what if God isn’t withholding—he’s reshaping your definition of “enough”?
because the truth is, you’re not lacking. you’re being prepared.
you’re not behind. you’re being positioned.
you’re not forgotten. you’re being made ready.
sometimes God removes what you think you need so you can finally see he was the source all along.
so stop striving. stop questioning if you’re enough. stop chasing what was already promised.
you lack nothing. not because you see it yet, but because the one who provides lacks nothing. breathe, sis. God's got you.
