i kept waiting, but God was waiting on me.
i used to beg God for clarity. “God, just show me what to do.” but the truth? He already had.
i just didn’t like the answer. so i kept waiting, hoping maybe He’d change His mind. maybe if i prayed harder, the red flag would turn green. maybe if i just held on a little longer, that thing He was pulling me away from would suddenly be “right.”
but sis… God doesn’t send confusion. we do that to ourselves when we ignore what He already made clear.
like when i kept asking if i should walk away from that relationship… but every time i prayed, my peace left the room. every time i stayed, i felt drained, anxious, unsure. but instead of seeing that as a sign, i convinced myself i needed more proof.
but when God is calling you to leave, the signs don’t get easier. they get louder.
i wasn’t waiting on Him. He was waiting on me—to stop calling my fear "patience," to stop praying for confirmation when He had already given it to me.
so if you’ve been asking for a sign… maybe take a second and ask yourself—has He already given me one, and i just don’t want to accept it? 🥺

This is all true, however just sharing my personal experience, just because we want smth doesn’t mean God doesn’t, now yes His ways are higher than our ways, as well as His thoughts, but He is for us not against us, and the Bible tells us if we delight ourselves in Him He will give us the desires of our heart! We just have to do things according to His will and His timing 💕
