When I worked with DIT Guava on Alien Earth,

We do the part of the assistant Dit (digital image technician) is the person who wires the image, allows Dit to have a live feed, every camera to shoot, no matter where it is taken. DIT. His name is Ryan. He supervises all the visual techniques by controlling the camera, adjusting the exposure of the camera. He likes to sit with a large cart with a lot of monitors. He likes to be near the shooting site to see the image directly from the camera and is the right hand man for Dop (Director of photography). To make decisions that make the shooting then go well. Each day, Ryan adjusts the data of any shot taken through a Livegrade bulging. Every adjustment of his will occur at all the monitors (the video village), where the entire team will see the same image. Mood And the tone of the movie is in the same direction.

Obstacles encountered and adaptation
🗣️ "language."
Accept to be a person who listens to English only know enough. After really working with foreigners for a total period of almost half a year, because if you don't know about it, you can't work together, so you have to force yourself to understand what he says. Until now, really developed more, start listening to English more.
🧠 "unknown device."
Some devices in Thailand are not widespread or not even at all, so have to learn and get to know as quickly as possible, because we really have to use it when filming. Anything that does not know must be asked is not correct, then ask first. Use body language at all is considered to be struggling. 🤣

การทำงานในตำแหน่งผู้ช่วย DIT (Digital Image Technician) อย่างที่บทความเล่านั้น ถือเป็นบทบาทสำคัญในการประสานงานให้ภาพถ่ายในแต่ละช็อตออกมาคุณภาพดีที่สุด โดยเฉพาะในการถ่ายทำภาพยนตร์หรือซีรีส์ที่มีความซับซ้อนสูงอย่าง Alien Earth การทำงานร่วมกับ DIT ชาวต่างชาติอย่าง Ryan ยังช่วยเปิดโอกาสให้เราได้เรียนรู้เทคโนโลยีและการตั้งค่ากล้องที่อาจไม่คุ้นเคยในประเทศไทย เช่น การปรับค่า Data ผ่านโปรแกรม Livegrade ที่ช่วยให้ทีมงานทุกคนเห็นภาพและ Mood ของหนังเป็นไปในทิศทางเดียวกัน นอกจากความรู้ด้านเทคนิคแล้ว การเรียนรู้และปรับตัวในเรื่องภาษาก็เป็นอีกหนึ่งความท้าทายสำคัญ การที่ผู้เขียนรู้สึกว่าสามารถพัฒนาทักษะการฟังและสื่อสารภาษาอังกฤษได้ดีขึ้นจากประสบการณ์นี้ ถือเป็นตัวอย่างของการเติบโตอย่างแท้จริงในสายงาน ซึ่งการสื่อสารที่ชัดเจนและเข้าใจกันจะทำให้งานราบรื่นและรวดเร็วขึ้น ส่วนของอุปกรณ์ที่ไม่คุ้นเคยก็ถือเป็นการเปิดโลกใหม่ในวงการฟิล์มและวิดีโอที่บ้านเราอาจยังไม่แพร่หลาย การกล้าที่จะถามและเรียนรู้สิ่งใหม่ด้วยวิธีภาษากายหรือภาษาพื้นฐาน เป็นทักษะที่สำคัญในการทำงานระหว่างวัฒนธรรมและเทคโนโลยีต่างประเทศจริงๆ และสุดท้ายประสบการณ์ครั้งนี้ยังเป็นเครื่องพิสูจน์ถึงความตั้งใจและความกระตือรือร้นในการทำงานที่จะช่วยผลักดันชีวิตการทำงานของเราไปอีกขั้นหนึ่ง สำหรับผู้ที่สนใจงานเบื้องหลังกล้องหรือทีมงานฟิล์ม การเตรียมตัวเรียนรู้ทักษะภาษาอังกฤษและทำความรู้จักกับอุปกรณ์ถ่ายทำเป็นพื้นฐานที่สำคัญ และอย่าลืมว่าการเป็นผู้ช่วยที่ดี ต้องมีความรับผิดชอบ ความละเอียดรอบคอบ และพร้อมดูแลส่วนต่างๆ เช่น Video village, สายสัญญาณภาพ และการจัดการพื้นที่ถ่ายทำ ซึ่งทั้งหมดนี้จะเป็นเกราะป้องกันที่ดีให้การถ่ายทำดำเนินไปอย่างราบรื่น สุดท้ายบทเรียนจากประสบการณ์จริงนี้ จะช่วยให้ใครที่อยากเข้าวงการภาพยนตร์หรือทีวี เข้าใจถึงความยากง่ายและความรู้สึกของการทำงานในกองถ่ายกับทีมงานระดับมืออาชีพในต่างประเทศได้ดียิ่งขึ้น
