when should i apply retinol?
You should apply retinol at night. In fact, do not apply during the day because UVs can decrease how effective retinol is, make it easier to sunburn, and lead to skin irritation. Sunlight breaks down retinol, so applying it during the day is basically a waste. Retinol is just not effective at night

🚨 “Skin Purging” from retinol or alpha hydroxy acids is not normal… listen up. That’s not normal. That’s your skin telling you you’re doing WAY too much, too soon. Instead, start with your retinol or AHA product just 1 day a week for the first 2 weeks. ➡️ After 2 weeks, increase to 2 days
