Shadow oflight
When I was 15 my doctors told me that if I was “lucky” I might live to see 30 ‼️They expected Sickle Cell to win.
I don’t believe in luck . I believe in GOD ‼️‼️‼️
Through the Grace of GOD with the guidance of Jesus Christ, I now have to do a 360* turn around to see 30!
GOD gave me a life that I never thought I would have.
I’m excited to be able to meet the World through the internet!
On the information Superhighway, you are either a driver, or you are roadkill. If SCD couldn’t get me , this definitely won’t ‼️
I live hopefully 🙏🏽 ever after. Emunah, Faith in GOD based on past experiences is my guide.
Have a Blessed Day Everyday ‼️

Living with sickle cell disease (SCD) can be extremely challenging due to its impact on red blood cells, causing pain, fatigue, and other complications. However, many survivors like Phoenix demonstrate that with faith, hope, and proper care, it is possible to lead a fulfilling life despite this chronic illness. Faith and spiritual belief often become crucial pillars for those facing life-threatening conditions such as SCD. They not only provide emotional strength during crises but also help maintain a hopeful outlook, which can positively influence well-being. Numerous patients find comfort in relying on God or a higher power as they confront the realities of their health challenges. Medical advancements in managing sickle cell disease include improved treatments, regular monitoring, and pain management strategies. Early diagnosis and adherence to therapy have increased life expectancy among patients. Still, mental resilience is equally important as physical treatment. Phoenix’s phrase, "PLEASE BE PATIENT GOD ISN'T FINISHED WITH ME YET! Shadow of light," symbolizes a profound assertion that life continues despite hardships. It reflects a hopeful mindset that is vital not only for people with SCD but for anyone facing adversity. Connecting with supportive communities, such as online forums and survivor groups, can provide additional encouragement and shared experiences. This social support helps reduce feelings of isolation and fosters motivation to keep fighting. Sharing authentic stories on platforms like this creates awareness and educates others about the realities of sickle cell disease. Ultimately, the blend of medical care, personal faith, and environmental support shapes the journey of individuals living with sickle cell disease. Celebrating milestones like reaching age 30 becomes more than a number—it symbolizes hope, strength, and purpose. Everyone’s story is unique, but resilience and belief in a better tomorrow universally drive the human spirit to overcome even the toughest battles. This testimony not only inspires but also encourages a positive perspective on life with SCD, reminding others not to give up and to trust that their journey is far from over.
