From Christianity to Paganism

For years I sat in the pews every Sunday, listening to a pastor who spoke to the tender places in my heart. After a lifetime of abandonment, that warmth felt like belonging.

But as time passed and I studied with intention, the surface began to crack. The kindness was real, but thin. Everything was smiles without depth, and I realized I was playing that same part.

Stepping away felt like stepping into myself.

Now I walk a path that feels true — ancient, earthy, pagan in its bones. A life woven with green witchery, intuition, and the freedom to finally be who I am.

... Read moreTransitioning from Christianity to paganism can be a deeply transformative experience that opens new pathways to spirituality and self-discovery. Many who follow this path describe a sense of reconnecting with nature and ancient wisdom, which brings a powerful grounding presence that traditional religious practices might lack. Green witchery, in particular, emphasizes living in harmony with the earth, using natural cycles, herbs, and intuition to foster healing and growth. This form of spirituality often appeals to those seeking a hands-on, embodied connection with the divine, rather than solely doctrinal belief. In leaving the predictability of church life, individuals frequently find freedom in ritual that is flexible and personally meaningful. The emphasis on intuition invites a deeper listening to one's inner voice and the wisdom of the body, encouraging a more authentic way of being. Paganism’s earth-centered nature offers a rich tapestry of symbols and practices from various ancient traditions, providing a spiritual home that feels both timeless and alive. For many, this path also brings a healing dimension—shedding feelings of abandonment or surface-level kindness experienced in previous faith communities and replacing them with genuine belonging through community or personal practice. The journey is often accompanied by a profound reawakening, where stepping away from old structures is also stepping into one's true self. Embracing paganism and green witchery can be more than a religion; it can be a holistic lifestyle that nurtures mind, body, and spirit.

Two smiling women hold flower baskets in a vibrant tulip field, introducing a quote about Jesus's warning against being lukewarm, not atheist.
lukewarm christianity is worst than atheism
lukewarm christianity is dangerous because it feels safe. it keeps the name of Jesus but removes the weight of obedience. it posts bible verses but avoids repentance. it says “God knows my heart” while ignoring what He said. atheism is honest disbelief. lukewarm faith is self deception.
