Chicken For Chicken Tostadas 🤤😋😊

I cooked my chicken using Tone Brother's Chicken Winners seasoning from Dollar Tree , Red Onion , & Cilantro. I would've added Salsa Roja , but Mi Suegra is visiting and she can't handle too much spiciness. I'm going to make Chicken Tostadas. I also have the Mexican Cilantro Rice in the Rice Cooker instead of steaming it on the stovetop or microwave. Lastly I'm making Fried Plantains.

... Read moreWhen I make chicken tostadas at home, I like to experiment with various seasonings to find what truly brings out the best flavors. Using Tone Brother's Chicken Winners seasoning, like in this recipe, adds a unique blend of spices that makes the chicken juicy and tasty without needing extra salty or spicy additions. Incorporating fresh red onion and cilantro really brightens the dish and balances the savory components. One trick I've found helpful is using a rice cooker for the Mexican cilantro rice instead of the stovetop or microwave. It keeps the texture fluffy and prevents the rice from becoming mushy or sticky. Plus, cooking rice in a rice cooker frees up stove space, making meal prep easier. I also love frying plantains as a side—they add a sweet, crispy contrast that complements the spiced chicken wonderful. For those who prefer a milder spice level due to guests or personal preference, like the author mentioned with Salsa Roja, you can leave out the hot sauce or serve it on the side. This way, everyone can adjust the heat to their liking. Lastly, to enhance the tostadas further, consider topping with fresh avocado slices or a drizzle of lime juice for an extra zing. These small additions can turn simple ingredients into a memorable meal anyone will enjoy.
