Some of y'all are stalkers & y'all know it
In today's digital age, it's quite common for people to be curious about others online, sometimes leading to behavior that borders on stalking. From my experience, many don't realize how easy it is to slip into stalking habits, especially when social media makes personal information widely accessible. I've noticed cases where what started as just checking someone's profile out of casual interest expanded into more obsessive behaviors like continuously monitoring their posts, stories, or even trying to collect information from mutual connections. Often, the person doing this doesn't think of it as stalking but rather as staying updated or just 'knowing more.' However, this can make the person being watched feel uneasy and violate their sense of privacy. It's essential to differentiate between healthy social curiosity and stalking. A good practice is to ask yourself: Am I respecting this person's boundaries? If the answer is no, it's a sign to reconsider your actions. Another crucial aspect is acknowledging that what some consider harmless can emotionally impact others. If you ever feel the urge to delve excessively into someone's online life, try to redirect that energy toward more positive interactions or focus on your own life goals. Setting boundaries online helps maintain mutual respect. Through this, I've learned that awareness and honesty with oneself about these behaviors lead to healthier online relationships. Remember, everyone deserves to feel safe and not monitored excessively on digital platforms.
