Witchy things I’m bringing home for the holidays
I am really grateful to have parents that just think I’m kind of weird and leave it at that. I’m not exactly a closeted witch but I always bring the “tamer” side of my craft around for family holidays. I usually never bring any spell work around and if I do, it’s usually stuff that looks fairly un-witchy. I don’t spend long stretches at my parents house as much anymore because of work. But while I’m here I definitely miss my herbs, usual tools, jars, big altar, and all that.

Do you have a travel altar of things you always bring on vacations/visiting others? Let me know what you bring in the comments.
As the holiday season approaches, many practitioners of witchcraft seek ways to integrate their spiritual practices with family traditions. Bringing witchy items like crystals, tarot decks, or a travel altar can create a balance between honoring your craft and respecting family dynamics. Items that may appear unassuming, such as small candles or prayer cards, can facilitate personal rituals in private settings. Traveling with a carefully curated selection of tools fosters a sense of connection to your spiritual self even in unfamiliar environments. Consider including crystals known for their protective or calming energies. A mini altar can serve as a focal point for your practices, allowing you to create sacred space regardless of your location. Additionally, engaging with others about their travel practices can provide insight and community connection. Sharing experiences, tips, or favorite items can enhance your travel preparation. Whether you’re a seasoned practitioner or simply exploring the magical aspects of life, thoughtful consideration of what to bring can enrich your holiday experience.
