Home made immune boosting shots
~ 2 inch of Ginger (could use more if you like the taste)
~ 1 inch of Turmeric (it stains, be careful!)
3 Oranges
3 Lemons
pinch or so of cayenne pepper
pinch or so of Black pepper
*blend ingredients; add filtered water if needed. Then strain ingredients into a bowl or container. Store in fridge and pour into shot glass to drink. I used recycled containers from store bought wellness shots.
** not claiming this as something new of course, just sharing something that helped me when I was sick. Sharing is caring! 💕
Incorporating immune-boosting ingredients into your diet can significantly enhance your overall health. Ginger is well-known for its anti-inflammatory properties, helping to reduce symptoms associated with colds and flu. Turmeric, with its active compound curcumin, is also famous for its antioxidant benefits. Citrus fruits such as oranges and lemons are rich in vitamin C, which is essential for a strong immune system, helping to fend off infections. Adding cayenne and black pepper not only enhances flavor but also helps to improve circulation and digestive health. When making these wellness shots, it is important to blend the ingredients well and adjust the consistency according to your preference by adding filtered water. Store your shot mixture in recycled bottles for a sustainable option. Regularly consuming homemade immune shots can be particularly beneficial during flu season or whenever you feel your defenses may be low. Remember, sharing your creations on social media encourages others to take charge of their health as well. Cheers to good health!
