This book takes you through the lives of 3 generations of a Palestinian family in the midst of the Six-Day War of 1967. Trust me, you will come to love each character as though you know them truly.
⭐️Overall rating: 10/10: Both of these books were so elegantly and written. The author, Hala Alyan has such beautiful way of writing. In both books, I felt as though I knew the characters intimately. I honestly fell in love with all of them. I felt like I really knew them and felt the fear, pain, sadness, happiness, love, passion, etc., along with them. These are the type of books you cherish forever & read many times. I was a little sad when I finished them. I wanted to know more!
