The opportunity to visit Mae Kampong in Chiang Mai during the rainy season is a much more beautiful and charming time than I thought.
All the way is full of fresh green mountains, cool air, fog-covered for most of the day, the sound of water flowing from the streams and waterfalls gently loud, making it feel relaxed from the first step to arrive.
The small wooden houses that line the hillside, the lovely cafes and simple lifestyles of the villagers, are still unique that sets Mae Kampong apart from other attractions, especially the rainy season, where nature is particularly rich, lush trees, waterfalls have full lines of water, and fresh air all day.
The most impressive highlight is sitting sipping warm coffee, looking at the fog slowly floating through the window. Listening to the sound of light rain is an unimaginable easy pleasure from city life.
