Gyusei Gyukatsu Wagyu-Steakhouse (Halal Japanese A5 Charcoal-Smoked Wagyukatsu Specialist)

... Read moreIf you're a fan of Japanese cuisine and love premium beef like A5 Wagyu, Gyusei Gyukatsu offers a unique dining experience that lets you fully appreciate the quality of the meat by cooking it yourself on a hot stone. This interactive aspect adds to the fun and allows you to customize the doneness to your liking, making each bite exceptionally satisfying. One thing I particularly enjoyed about dining at Gyusei was the balance between indulgence and freshness. The free-flow iceberg lettuce served alongside the gyukatsu isn’t just filler—it acts as a crisp, refreshing counterpoint to the rich, juicy wagyu. The premium furikake sprinkled over the lettuce also enhances the flavors, giving an authentic Japanese touch often missing in cheaper alternatives. From my experience, while $69 may seem steep for one dish, the quality of the A5 wagyu ribeye justifies the price, especially for occasions like dates or birthdays where you want to make the meal special. The tenderness and juiciness of the beef truly stand out, and the setting at 775 North Bridge Rd adds a cozy ambiance. If you’re considering a visit, do remember to make a reservation, as the place can get busy quickly. Also, come hungry but pace yourself—trust me, one set is more than enough unless you’re ready to share, or want to risk the ‘too full’ feeling! This halal-certified wagyu gyukatsu option is a rare find that caters to those who observe halal dietary requirements but still want to indulge in authentic Japanese wagyu dishes. Overall, Gyusei Gyukatsu offers a memorable culinary experience that’s worth trying if you’re in Singapore and craving a high-quality wagyu treat.

Must-Try 1st HALAL Gyukatsu in SG 🥩🔥💯
The Ribeye Gyukatsu is a must-order, it literally melts in your mouth with each piece seared to your preferred doneness. Be sure to make a reservation and request table seating rather than counter seating as the sizzling can splatter if you’re seated too close. 📍Gyusei Gyukatsu Wagyu Steakhouse

Save this Gyukatsu Spot for your next Tokyo Trip
We visited the popular Gyukatsu spot in Tokyo at Asakusa area. There are actually 2 outlets within the same district and both outlets do have queue. We went after lunch hours, after 2pm so the queue is much shorter. We waited for about 20 minutes before our turn came. The staff were pretty well
