New Etsy Must Find! How to File Stickers for Customers to Download

The beginning of my Etsy sticker sale started with the word "Know Nothing."

When I started making digital stickers, I didn't even know how to file, what kind of files to split, or what they should receive when the customer bought them. Everything was by trial and error.

I only knew that Etsy had us upload five digital product files, and each file was limited in size, so I started with the simplest method: separate folders.

And then compress each folder into a ZIP file.

Finally, you get about 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 files and upload them to Etsy according to the available channels.

At first I thought that this method was okay, but as we continued, there was a problem: there were more stickers in our files, the image had to be sharper, the file size was bigger, the file size was actually uploaded, it didn't start enough, because the file was limited in size.

It's here that I'm starting to wonder...

"How about a loud sticker shop where they sell big files or have a lot of pictures?"

So I went shopping from a best-selling store on Etsy to see how they systematize files, not to copy them, but to study the structure of file delivery, how they organize and the experience customers get after buying.

When I bought it, I realized that many stores do not upload all their files directly into Etsy, but instead they do it as a PDF Guide Download.

Inside the PDF, there is a description, how to download it, how to use it, and a button or link to download the actual file deposited in Cloud Storage, such as Google Drive.

And when I saw it, I said, "Oh, that's it."

It makes the file arrangement look much more professional. It is easier for customers to understand. We do not have to squeeze the file so small that the quality falls and can organize the whole thing better.

After that, I started reworking the file, and then I uploaded several ZIP files, and turned it into a PDF Guide Download with a product download link inside, and used Google Drive as the main file repository.

For me, this is one of the key lessons of starting selling stickers on Etsy.

Because at first I thought "selling stickers" was just making beautiful pictures and uploading them, but when I realized that filing, making manuals, making customers easy to download, and making the store look reliable was as important as the job itself.

Now I've been going from zero for 16 days.

It's not a huge number yet, but for a rookie who starts with nothing, it's the beginning to feel like "it's really possible."

What I learned is that we don't have to be good from day one, but we have to start puzzling, trial and error, and adjust gradually.
