Etsy sold for $2.99, but real money entered $1.83!? A newbie must know before setting a price.
Before selling Etsy, newbies need to know this.
Many people see sales and are glad.
Like selling $3.99.
25% off to $2.99
The customer actually paid $2.99.
But when you look at Order Earnings,
The real money is only $1.83.
Because Etsy also has several fees, such as
Transaction fees, Payment processing fees, VAT fees and some orders may also offer Offsite Ad fees.
This doesn't mean Etsy is bad.
But it means we have to "charge the price."
If the price is too cheap,
Reduce too much
Or no fee allowance at all.
The last actually sells, but there may be very little profit left.
