“a few reflections for your day — was in the headspace of watching the world grieve and recognizing how beautiful it is to feel so much (as well as painful, confusing, connective, all the things) … feeling grateful to exist to feel & grow & change the world! we really do have it in us, I think. I hope this reaches you well friend” 💓

Grieving is often seen as a purely painful experience, but it can also reveal the purest forms of love and dedication within us. In my own journey, I’ve noticed that embracing the full range of emotions—from worry to celebration—helps me develop a deeper connection not only with myself but with others as well. For example, when I pause to reflect on how I overthink, I realize it comes from a place of empathy and care, which motivates me to be gentler with myself and those around me. One powerful way to process grief and emotional growth is by acknowledging the ways we support and believe in others. This recognition enhances our own self-worth and invites us to speak up for what matters, which can lead to meaningful changes in our lives and communities. I’ve found that celebrating small joys daily — whether it be the laughter shared with friends or the beauty of nature — nourishes my soul and fosters resilience. Looking at your existence with kindness and understanding helps to remind you that your life is inherently special. This perspective shift allowed me to move from feeling overwhelmed to feeling empowered, knowing that my unique experiences contribute to the tapestry of the world’s healing. It’s important to remember that your ability to grieve, to love, and to hope is a sign of your strength and an invitation to continue growing. Ultimately, embracing vulnerability in times of grief and uncertainty can deepen your personal growth and help you find meaning in life’s challenges. I encourage you to reflect on these emotions with gratitude and openness, trusting that feeling so much is part of what makes us beautifully human.
