not fear death but instead is impatient

... Read moreIt’s a beautiful journey we’re on, trying to truly connect with the Holy Spirit and discern the messages God has for us. Like many of you, I’ve had moments where I felt that gentle nudge or a clear sense of peace, and other times when I longed for more clarity. So, how do we really tune in and listen to the Holy Spirit effectively? For me, it starts with preparation and an open heart. The Bible reminds us in Colossians 4:5 to “Live wisely among those who are not believers, and make the most of every opportunity.” This isn't just about evangelism; it’s about living intentionally, being aware of our surroundings and the divine moments God places before us. When we live wisely and seize opportunities, we're essentially preparing our spirits to be more receptive to God's voice, whether it comes as a quiet thought, a strong impression, or a timely scripture. Another powerful truth I've embraced, especially relating to Matthew 24:36 – "NO ONE KNOWS ABOUT THAT DAY OR HOUR, NOT EVEN THE ANGELS IN HEAVEN, NOR THE SON, BUT ONLY THE FATHER" – is the importance of living each day as if it were our last. This isn't about fear, but about urgency and focus. When I live with this perspective, I find myself less distracted by worldly worries and more attuned to what truly matters. This heightened state of awareness makes it easier to perceive the subtle ways the Holy Spirit speaks, guiding my thoughts and actions. And let's not forget 1 Timothy 6:6: “Actually, godliness is a great source of profit when it is combined with being happy with what you already have.” Practicing godliness and contentment creates a peaceful inner space. When our hearts aren't burdened by covetousness or discontent, we’re in a much better position to hear God's voice. A calm spirit is a listening spirit; it allows the Holy Spirit to minister to us without the noise of our own desires getting in the way. Beyond these foundational principles, I’ve found a few practical steps incredibly helpful: Consistent Prayer and Stillness: Make time each day, even just a few minutes, to sit in silence before God. Ask the Holy Spirit to speak to you. Sometimes the messages come as a deep sense of peace, an idea, or even a picture in your mind. Immerse Yourself in Scripture: The Bible is God’s living word. When I read it, I often ask the Holy Spirit to highlight verses or give me understanding. It’s amazing how a familiar passage can suddenly jump out with a fresh, personal message. Journaling: After prayer or reading, I like to write down any impressions, thoughts, or scriptures that stood out. This helps me process and remember, and often, patterns emerge over time that reveal God's consistent guidance. Reflect and Discern: Always test what you believe you've heard against the Word of God and the character of Jesus. The Holy Spirit will never contradict scripture or lead you to do anything unloving or impure. Listening to the Holy Spirit is a skill developed over time, a beautiful dance in our relationship with God. It requires patience, practice, and a heart hungry for His leading. Keep seeking, keep listening, and trust that He desires to communicate with you even more than you desire to hear Him.

Yes ma’am! Jesus is coming back very soon‼️ We need to wake up and be ready! I’m so ready for His return❤️. I’m tired of being in this messed up and fallen world. We live in the matrix fr and I’m so blessed to not be asleep like everyone else in this fake reality of a world.
