Normalcy in our 20s🫶

2025/12/16 Edited to

... Read moreThe twenties are often portrayed as an age of discovery, growth, and sometimes uncertainty. Many people forget or overlook that feeling unsure or vulnerable during this time is completely normal. This phase includes navigating education, early career challenges, relationship dynamics, and developing personal identities. 'Things we forget are normal in our 20s' captures the essence of this period — it’s a time when many individuals wrestle with self-doubt, shifting priorities, and the pressure to 'have it all figured out.' Embracing vulnerability helps break the stigma that everyone in their twenties should have a flawless plan, allowing for authentic self-expression and emotional growth. Additionally, it's important to understand that social media often paints a filtered and polished version of life, which can create unrealistic expectations. Comparing yourself to curated images or successes can increase stress and anxiety. Instead, focusing on your unique journey fosters resilience. The late 20s bring transitions such as establishing careers and building lasting relationships; however, experiences differ widely and there is no singular path to follow. Accepting that normalcy varies promotes self-compassion. In summary, the 20s are a critical decade for laying emotional and practical foundations. Normalcy involves ups and downs, and embracing vulnerability is a strength, not a weakness. Sharing these truths openly helps create a supportive community for those navigating this significant phase of life.
