同じように「湯煎しても全然トロッとならない…」「ハートのワックスが溶けない…」ってつまずいたことがあるので、私がやって効いたコツを追記します。100均だけで作れるのに“最高に可愛い”“本物そっくり”に仕上がるので、失敗しにくいポイントを押さえるのが大事でした。 まず、湯煎で溶けにくい原因で多いのが「温度不足」と「水分混入」。シーリングワックスは溶け始めが50〜60℃、とろとろが80℃前後なので、弱火のまま放置だと粒のまま残りがちです。私はフライパン（または鍋）に水を入れてモールドごと入れ、ふつふつをキープ。水が減ると温度が落ちるので“こまめに足す”のが地味に効きました。さらに時短したい時は、モールドに直接お湯が入り込まないよう注意しつつ、少し隙間を開けてフタをすると早いです。 「途中から乾燥したみたいに固まって混ぜられない」時は、水が入って分離している可能性が高め。私は一度取り出して水分を拭き取り、ワックスを新しく少し足してから再加熱しました。やり直せるのがシーリングワックスの良いところで、失敗しても型に戻して熱を入れればリベンジできます。 次に、トースター・オーブン派の注意点。温度調節がない機種だと高温になりやすく、ぐつぐつ沸騰っぽい状態になると気泡や白濁の原因に。私はアルミホイルを敷いて、110℃目安で10分→足りなければ5分ずつ追加、の刻みが安定でした。とろとろになったら、爪楊枝で“底から”ゆっくり混ぜると色ムラと気泡が減ります。 仕上げの小ワザも。フローズン感を出したい時はラメ（オーロラ系）を少量、かさ増しにはクリアを混ぜると色が可愛く出ました。型から外した後、バリが気になるところは紙ヤスリ（#240〜400）で軽く整えると一気に見栄えが上がります。 最後に金具。ヒートンは“少し刺して一度外す→接着剤→ねじねじして差し込む”が取れにくくて安心でした。スクバに付けるなら、派手すぎないボールチェーンや小さめチャームにすると控えめでおしゃれにまとまります。シーリングスタンプ風のキーホルダー作り方としても応用できるので、色替えでいろいろ作るのが楽しいです。
